Sustainable Development Goals clarification

Sustainable Development Goals clarification
1-No Poverty
Goal 1 strives to eradicate all forms of poverty worldwide. For the first time, nations have vowed to reduce child poverty as part of the SDGs. Children experience poverty differently than adults do because they have different needs and expectations and because poverty can have lifetime repercussions on children. But it's hard to tell the difference between child poverty and adult poverty, and its unique aspects are often overlooked (SDGs for children, 2022).
2-Zero Hunger
Goal 2 is to end hunger, ensure food security, improve nutrition, and support sustainable agriculture by 2030. Undernutrition, hidden hunger, and being too heavy are all types of malnutrition that put children and young people's lives, growth, and development at risk. Children who eat well are better able to grow and learn, to take part in their communities, and to handle sickness, disasters, and other emergencies (SDGs for children, 2022).
3-Good Health and Well-being
Goal 3 promotes lifelong health and well-being. Health and well-being matter throughout life. This aim encompasses all the main health priorities: reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health; communicable and non-communicable illnesses; universal health coverage; and access to safe, effective, quality, and cheap medicines and vaccines (SDGs for children, 2022).
4-Quality Education
Goal 4 promotes lifelong learning and quality education for everyone. This objective reduces educational access and quality discrepancies. It recognizes that everyone needs a good education, but especially kids from poor families, kids from rural areas, kids with disabilities, kids from native tribes, and kids who are refugees (SDGs for children, 2022).
5-Gender Equality
Goal 5 empowers women and girls. Humans deserve gender equality. It is also necessary to achieve all the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda goals (SDGs for children, 2022).
6-Clean Water and Sanitation
Goal 6 is to make sure that everyone has access to and can take care of water and sanitation in a sustainable way. Water and sanitation are important for people's and the planet's health (SDGs for children, 2022).
7-Affordable and Clean Energy
Goal 7 provides everyone with affordable, dependable, sustainable, and contemporary energy. Sustainable energy makes services that children need to live, grow, and be healthy and happy much better, easier to get to, and more reliable (SDGs for children, 2022).
8-Decent Work and Economic Growth
Goal 8 promotes equitable and sustainable economic development, productive employment, and decent work for everyone. Regarding children (SDGs for children, 2022).
9-Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure
SDG 9 aims to improve infrastructure resilience, promote sustainable industrialization, and support innovation (Sustainable development goals, 2022).
10-Reduced Inequalities
Goal 10 aims to address inequality both inside and between nations. Inequality starts with the fact that people have different resources and opportunities depending on where they were born (SDGs for children, 2022).
11-Sustainable Cities and Communities
SDG 11's official objective is to make cities more inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable (Sustainable development goals, 2022).
12-Responsible Consumption and Production
SDG 12's official phrase is "Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns." SDG 12 is aimed at ensuring resource efficiency, improved energy efficiency, sustainable infrastructure, access to essential services, green and decent employment, and a higher quality of life for everyone (Sustainable development goals, 2022).
13-Climate Action
Goal 13 calls for immediate action to fight climate change and its consequences. Climate change and damage to the environment are issues of equity that threaten the rights of all children, especially the most vulnerable ones (SDGs for children, 2022).
14-Life Below Water
goal 14 Can save and sustainably develop the oceans, seas, and marine resources for sustainable development," according to the official language (SDGs for children, 2022).
15-Life on Land
Goal 15 is to protect, restore, and promote the sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, manage forests sustainably, prevent desertification, and stop and reverse land degradation and biodiversity loss (Sustainable development goals, 2022).
16-Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions
Goal 16 promotes peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provides justice for all, and builds effective, responsible, and inclusive institutions at all levels. Peace, stability, human rights, and good government based on the rule of law are essential for child rights and sustainable development (SDGs for children, 2022).
17-Partnerships for the Goals
Goal 17 strengthens implementation and revives the global partnership for sustainable development. SDG implementation requires partnerships. Goal 17 asks for improved implementation and stakeholder relationships (SDGs for children, 2022).
