Clean water and Sanitation Goal

The meaning of (clean water and sanitation)

The meaning of the goal is to provide everyone with safe drinking water and sanitation. Access to water, sanitation, and hygiene is a human right is a critical foundation for achieving the SDGs. Sustainable management of water resources and access to safe water and sanitation are essential for unlocking economic growth and productivity and provide significant leverage for existing investments in health and education. The natural environment, e.g., forests, soils, and wetlands, contributes to the management and regulation of water availability and water quality, strengthening the resilience of watersheds and complementing investments in physical infrastructure and institutional and regulatory arrangements (Why it matters 2020 - united nations).

Clean water and sanitation importance

Water is essential to life. However, pure and clean water is responsible for a pleasant experience. Let us shed some light on the significance of clean water. The key to good health is to drink pure water eight times per day. It is critical to recognize that clean water is rapidly becoming a scarce resource. It is also necessary for sanitation. Clean water is required for washing clothes, cooking, and cleaning (Environment, Goal 6: Clean water and sanitation).

Facts, data and statistics about clean water and sanitation

There are many facts and data about clean water and sanitation for example There are 650 million people in the world who do not have access to safe drinking water.
